If you’re ready to launch your business in Greenville, there are resources galore to help you on your way. Here’s a roadmap of incubators, community resources and innovation spaces to get you started:

Local Launchpads

NEXTGEN: Primarily a networking and ecosystem-building resource, NextGEN prides itself on helping entrepreneurs connect with mentorship and peer support, while serving as a bridge between founders and the city’s startup community at large.

VILLAGE LAUNCH: This organization helps cohorts of under-resourced entrepreneurs develop viable business concepts or grow their existing business through a combination of educational training, accountability, mentorship and peer support.

COMMUNITYWORKS: An official community development financial institution (CDFI), CommunityWorks supports small businesses across the region by providing access to loans, coaching, education and more. They cater to entrepreneurs who may not qualify for traditional financing.

BUILD CAROLINA: This organization provides targeted coaching, founder education and strategic guidance tailored specifically for high-growth tech startups. Specializing in the unique challenges of scaling technology, they help entrepreneurs optimize their product roadmap, navigate market entry and execute data-driven growth strategies.

Startup Programs

THE HILL INSTITUTE: Run by Furman University, this nationally recognized center supports both students and community founders through programs, accelerators, pitch competitions, mentorship and education. Early-stage founders can find support for every step of the entrepreneurial process while making connections and building their network.

SC BUSINESS ACCELERATOR: Designed to help entrepreneurs strengthen business fundamentals, this South Carolina-focused accelerator program provides coaching, education, and connections to capital and other strategic resources. It also helps founders take their ideas from the concept stage to an actual, scalable business. The program is operated by the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.

NXLEVEL ENTREPRENEURSHIP ACCELERATOR: Spearheaded by the Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina, this cohort-model entrepreneurship training program helps aspiring and existing founders refine their business models by focusing on practical planning, financial forecasting, market validation and more.

Coworking Spaces

JUD HUB: Located within the redeveloped Judson Mill, this space is specifically designed for nonprofits, community-focused organizations and social entrepreneurs. It offers conference rooms, flexible workspaces, grant-writing assistance and a collaborative community environment.

VENTURE X: This premium coworking space is located at Plush Mills and offers private offices, dedicated desks and meeting rooms. Venture X is ideal for entrepreneurs, startups and growing companies that seek a professional environment without a huge overhead.

FLYWHEEL GREENVILLE: An entrepreneur-focused co-working and innovation space, Flywheel Greenville doesn’t just offer office solutions; it provides partnerships with organizations, investors and more. It also hosts networking events and startup-focused professional development programming.
