A bevy of fun festivals highlight the Williamson County, TN, events calendar.

The region offers a diverse roster of festivals that residents and visitors will want to add to their calendars. Ahead, discover eight things to do in Williamson County, TN.

1. Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in Williamson County, TN

One of the biggest annual events in Williamson County, the festival is staged at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin. More than 40 top music acts perform over the two-day September event, with about 50,000 spectators in attendance. Past headliners included Justin Timberlake, Lionel Richie, Zach Bryan, Dave Mathews Band and The Black Crowes.

2. Juneteenth Celebration in Williamson County, TN

The Franklin Justice & Equity Coalition schedules its annual Juneteenth Celebration every mid-June. The festival occurs at a different venue each year, with more than 100 vendors, live music performances, food trucks and a KidZone. Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in America. In addition, the Williamson County African American Heritage Society hosts an annual Juneteenth Celebration at the historic McLemore House, a home owned by former enslaved person Harvey McLemore.

3. Brentwood Beer and Wine Festival in Williamson County, TN

More than 40 craft brewery and winery representatives from throughout Middle Tennessee and beyond are in attendance at the festival, which takes place on a Saturday afternoon in October at Crockett Park.

4. Pickin’ in the Park in Williamson County, TN

Spring Hill is the place to be for the Pickin’ in the Park music series at Harvey Park’s Red Oak Pavilion. Concerts take place on the first Saturdays of May through October, with performances beginning at 5:30 p.m. The 2024 series will be the 12th annual.

5. Nolensville Farmers Market in Williamson County, TN

Every Saturday, the year-round Nolensville Farmers Market runs from 8 a.m. to noon at historic Nolensville School. The market features local producers selling organic and naturally grown produce, several varieties of meat, baked goods and farm fresh eggs. Also available are artisan crafts and food trucks.

6. Dickens of a Christmas in Williamson County, TN

Recreate the time of Charles Dickens during the annual Dickens of a Christmas, a staple of downtown Franklin every December. The two-day event features a variety of street characters like Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and Bob Cratchit from Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” Other highlights include live music, food and beverage vendors, arts and crafts, and a KidZone.

7. Fairview Arts & Crafts Fair in Williamson County, TN

Bowie Park is the site of the annual fair, which takes place in mid-October. More than 50 booths feature items that must be handmade or handcrafted. Food trucks are on-site during the fair. The fair occurs rain or shine, and there are several activities for kids to keep them entertained.

8. Blackberry Jam Music Festival in Williamson County, TN

Mark your calendars for June 2024, when the next Blackberry Jam Music Festival will take center stage at Boyd Mill Farm in Franklin. Gate tickets are $15 until the venue’s capacity is reached. The festival, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023, brings together a diverse group of musicians, and includes food and beverage options.
