1. It has a thriving economy.

Williamson County is the address of choice for major companies. Big-name brands that have their headquarters here include Nissan North America, Tractor Supply Co., Mars Petcare, Community Health Systems and Mitsubishi Motors North America. These companies are fueled by a pipeline of skilled talent in the region. Nearly 96% of Williamson County residents have earned a high school diploma and 57% of its residents have a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Williamson County is welcoming to families – it boasts a relatively reasonable cost of living and standout public schools. Williamson County Schools, with an enrollment of over 40,000 students, is consistently ranked one of the best districts in Tennessee. Plus, there are plenty of activities for kids of all ages, like the John P. Holt Brentwood Library, Sky Zone Trampoline Park, Code Ninjas, We Rock the Spectrum, SOAR Adventure Tower and Franklin Family Entertainment Center.

4. It offers the best of small-town living close to the city.

The six incorporated cities and towns in Williamson County – Brentwood, Fairview, Franklin, Nolensville, Spring Hill, and Thompson’s Station – range from suburban enclaves to rural expanses. Williamson County was the site of three major battles during the Civil War.
