1. Adams
This small town is best known for the Bell Witch haunting, a legendary folk tale about an invisible witch who haunted the area. Each fall, the town hosts the Bell Witch Fall Festival, an event full of storytelling and theater productions. It’s a 20-year tradition that has cemented Adams as a place that values narrative art.
2. Cedar Hill
Cedar Hill is a charming small town with a strong community spirit. Residents enjoy affordable housing and a slower pace of life. Experience the Cedar Hill Fall Festival’s live music, food trucks and family-friendly activities. Also enjoy the Cedar Hill Farmers Market, which runs the third Thursday of the month from April to September.
3. Cross Plains

4. Coopertown

5. Greenbrier
Greenbrier loves to come together as a community and celebrate! 6. Millersville
The heart of Millersville is its Community Center, located beside Slaters Creek and a playground. Inside, discover local history and a piece of the World Trade Center, making it a unique and engaging destination.
7. Orlinda
With fewer than 1,000 residents, this town is the epitome of small-town living, and many residents are involved in agribusiness. It’s a quiet, low-traffic type of place, filled with families that have been settled in the area for many generations. Though small in size, this charming town is big in community spirit and togetherness.
8. Portland
Nicknamed the “Strawberry Capital,” Portland hosts the popular Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival, an annual event that features a parade, concert, fireworks and much more – all to celebrate the delicious fruit that put Portland on the map in the 1900s. Today, Portland is enjoying economic growth in a variety of industries.
9. Ridgetop
Ridgetop has a rich history steeped in the early railroad industry, thanks to the Ridgetop Tunnel. The longest free-standing tunnel in the world when it was built, the Ridgetop Tunnel was an incredible accomplishment that residents are proud to claim. Trains can be found around town at the Ridgetop Station Park and at the Ridgetop Train Museum, set in a former fire station.
10. Springfield
As the largest city in Robertson County, Springfield has a lot to offer by way of amenities. From dining to shopping to outdoor recreation, residents enjoy plenty of options and opportunities.
