In the southern portion of Idaho is Burley, a city that straddles Cassia and Minidoka counties. The median age of residents in this community is just under 30, and recreational attractions include mountain biking opportunities, the Snake River and Pomerelle Ski Resort. Students are served by the Cassia County School District as well as Minidoka County Schools, and Burley is known for staging an annual Spudman Triathlon along with an Idaho Regatta.
