Ride ’Em Cowboy

Saddle up for the wildest, fastest show on earth at the Snake River Stampede. Recognized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association as one of the top 10 rodeos in the country, entries run the range from roughstock competitions to timed events. Held annually in June, the five-day spectacular includes live entertainment, food trucks, Buckaroo Breakfast, Stampede for the Cure luncheon and the chance to cheer on the next generation with the popular calf scramble and junior rodeo.

• Lakeview Park: Enjoy Nampa’s 27 parks including this urban oasis with amphitheater, rose garden, public art, StoryWalk, outdoor fitness center, bike trail and onsite water park.
• Playful Pups: For those traveling to Idaho with four-legged friends, Nampa also has four dog parks.
• Wilson Springs Ponds: Spend an afternoon fishing for bass, trout and bluegill in this scenic setting.
• Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge & Lake Lowell: Hike the trails teeming with native wildlife, play a round of disc golf or spend time on the water kayaking, swimming and fishing.
