Grow your artistic skills and create your next masterpiece with the help of Art Unleashed, a nonprofit art organization offering art classes, camps and workshops to students of all ages and abilities. A wide variety of classes are available throughout the year, such as pottery wheel, watercolor, acrylic painting and drawing, as well as themed classes that focus on specific subjects like animals or music. Art Unleashed also offers a Kaleidoscope program that’s designed for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, plus special programming for homeschooled students and community organizations.
Chesterfield’s landscape is dotted with public art installations, giving residents and visitors easy access to some of the community’s most impressive and unique creations. For example, the City of Chesterfield hosts an art exhibit at City Hall that displays works from regional artists, while places like Central Park and Eberwein Park lay claim to permanent, one-of-a-kind sculptures. Public art is also on display outside of the St. Louis County Library, Chesterfield Sports Fusion, West County Family YMCA and other area businesses.
