Get out and about in Williamson County.

There are few joys that compare to family time spent enjoying the great outdoors – especially in this day and age, when prying kids away from screens can be so difficult. Here are some recommendations from parents on some of their favorite outdoor family outings:

1. Arrington Vineyards

Not just for adults who love wine, Arrington Vineyards is an all-around gorgeous location with plenty of space the whole family can enjoy. Pack some food and a blanket and make some memories.

2. Flying Discs

Adults and kids have a blast trying to “throw like a pro†– a pro disc golfer, that is – at Liberty Park in Franklin. Tucked away within the park’s scenic woods, this course offers 10 holes that keep beginners and professionals on their toes.

3. Franklin Farmers Market

Farmers markets are a great way to support your local growers while teaching your kids about where their food comes from. The Franklin Farmers Market is held weekly under the pavilion at the Factory.

6. Go Chasing Waterfalls
