#2. Princeton

The Movie: “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle”

The Setting: New Jersey (Princeton and Cherry Hill)

Where It Was Actually Filmed: Toronto, Canada

Why you should visit: Home to the Ivy League Princeton University, Princeton is home to great museums, parks and history. And, yes, White Castles.

Don’t miss this iconic spot: In Princeton, the dearly departed are just as interesting as the living. The Princeton Cemetery is the final resting place of Nobel laureates, Pulitzer Prize winners, former U.S. President Grover Cleveland and U.S. Vice President/Hamilton antagonist Aaron Burr.

Instagram moment: Any local White Castle will have to do for an ode to Harold and Kumar, as the actual location at Caledon, Ontario has since closed, been converted into a Yuppie’s Burgers, and closed again.
