MercyCare Marion Urgent Care, part of the Mercy Medical Center family of facilities and providers, is open seven days a week to care for patients with unexpected illness or injuries. MercyCare’s motto, “Get In. Get Out. Get Better,” sums up the mission of urgent care to treat patients quickly and professionally when their regular providers are not available. On-site services include lab work and X-rays. A new eArrival option lets patients set an online time for appointments, reducing wait time.

UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine | Urgent Care – Marion, affiliated with Unity Point Health, provides care for a variety of non-emergency illnesses or injuries, from sinus infections, colds and flu to broken bones and skin rashes. The clinic is open seven days a week, and specializes in family medicine. Laboratory tests, X-rays, digital mammograms and physical therapy are also available at the clinic.

The Mercy Touch extends to a nationally renowned center for mothers and babies that includes a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. The Hall Perrine Cancer Center provides the latest treatment options for many types of cancer, including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, clinical trials and rehabilitation services. The hospital also offers women’s services, heart care, lung care, general surgery and hospice care.

St. Luke’s Hospital, Unity Point Health Cedar Rapids was ranked among the nation’s Best Regional Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report. U.S. News also ranked St. Luke’s third in Iowa and recognized it as high-performing in five specialties. The 532-bed facility accommodated more than 53,000 emergency room visits and more than 18,000 admissions in 2014 and delivered nearly 2,600 babies.

Eastern Iowa Health Center in Cedar Rapids is a community health center that provides primary care to patients without regard to their ability to pay. Its many services include women’s, men’s and children’s health screenings and exams, immunizations, urgent care, chronic disease management, EKGs, hearing tests, gynecologic procedures, joint care and much more. Health coaches, social workers and interpreter services help ensure that good health care is available to all.
