Myrtle Beach, SC
Myrtle Beach is a bit like one giant playground. Obviously, its beaches are quite famous, as well as its golf courses. In fact, there are more than 100 courses, plus 30 mini-golf courses, leading many to consider it the golf capital of the world (sorry, Scotland). But there’s far more beyond that, including the Boardwalk at the Beach, which has different businesses ranging from shopping to helicopter rides down the coast. There are also multiple amusement parks and water parks. Mixed in with generally temperate weather and Southern hospitality, some find it hard to leave—and so they don’t.
