The rest of the year, explore all the city has to offer, from The NASCAR Hall of Fame to professional sports to the Gantt Center for African American Arts and Culture’s collections, exhibits and engaging events.
There’s a variety of places to park around town, so you can keep things interesting without using a lot of gas. The same goes for libraries and coffee shops. Our favorite? Julia’s Café and Books, which is a coffee shop and bookstore, that also happens to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Yes, there’s WiFi, an indoor balcony to work from, and amazing sugar cookies. Want to sample some local craft beers? Charlotte has got you covered there too. While Asheville might get all the love as a great beer city, Charlotte is carving out a reputation of its own thanks to creative local breweries like Bold Missy and Armored Cow. Once you’ve hung up the keys, enjoy a toast to your adventurous, freewheeling lifestyle. You deserve it.
