#7. Milwaukee WI
There are many reasons to move to Milwaukee, including great beer. Known as “Brew City,” Milwaukee has a long history of beermaking that dates back to the German immigrants that settled in the region in the 1800s. Today, when you think of beer in Milwaukee, the big names like Miller, Pabst and Schlitz probably come to mind. However, the Wisconsin city also boasts plenty of craft beer culture. There are more than 30 breweries in the downtown and surrounding area, including craft names like Third Space Brewing and MobCraft Beer.
Get your official Brew City Beer Map to explore the 60-plus breweries, tours and beer attractions that the city has to offer. You can even book a room at the Brewhouse Inn & Suites inside the renovated Pabst Brewery.
