The Sick Stag
The Sick Stag draws inspiration from Aesop’s fables, embracing the moral of surrounding oneself with good people.
Co-owner Has Mahmood and his partners have created a place where guests can unwind and “forget the worries of life” over exceptional libations and bar bites. The menu showcases Asian-inspired ingredients like lemongrass and pandan, adding a unique touch to their meticulously crafted drinks.
Every detail – from their house-made cordials to clarifying cocktails in a medical centrifuge – speaks to their passion for the process. For its staff, the bar’s success stems from more than great drinks; it’s about cultivating a space where hospitality reigns supreme and every visitor feels at home.
Among the standout creations is perennial favorite Mother’s Milk, a clarified rum punch, and Monkey Business, a whiskey sour riff topped with a halva foam. Best-selling Mother of Dragons reimagines the spicy margarita with a bold, flavorful twist.
Craft Lounge
Tucked inside the Brick 29 Bistro, Craft Lounge offers an intimate experience where unique drinks, delectable bites and good times all converge at once.
Owner and operating partner Nick Boban opened the lounge on New Year’s Eve in 2017, and locals quickly embraced it. Craft Lounge thrives on creativity, infusing one-of-a-kind flavors into its beverages and highlighting locally sourced ingredients.
Guests can enjoy classics like an Old Fashioned or Clover Club, or sip on a Huckleberry Lemon Drop. When in season, the Girl Crush – a vibrant, refreshing blend of tequila, pineapple and grenadine – is a must-try. Guests can also enjoy local beers and wine, and there’s a selection of zero-proof beverages.
Boban’s syrups have become a hallmark of the Craft Lounge experience. In fact, because of their popularity, Boban began bottling the syrups so patrons could re-create their favorite drinks at home. The success of the ginger syrup sparked the creation of aptly named House Made, a brand dedicated to premium, small-batch syrups and bitters. Customers can shop House Made products directly through its website at housemadesyrup.com.

Koenig Distillery
Enjoy Old-World distilled spirits right here in Nampa. Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Andy and Jill, Koenig Distillery began with a passion for wine and brandy. After studying traditional distilling techniques in Austria, Andy brought his expertise back home, where he and brother, Greg, first began producing wine and fruit brandy.
Today, Koenig Distillery is celebrated for its vodka, whiskey and brandy. The distillery’s vodka is crafted with Idaho potatoes, while the fruit brandies and peach vodka showcase the bounties of its peach, plum and pear orchards. Their Seven Devils whiskey takes its name from the seven rugged peaks in the nearby Hells Canyon Wilderness, connecting each sip to the landscape.
Witness their craftsmanship firsthand with a self-guided tour, including a peek at the German-imported, hand-operated copper stills in their barrelhouse. Or enjoy sampling flights featuring three spirits or various mini cocktails.
Favorites include the Coco Berry, a cozy hot chocolate with huckleberry vodka, or the summery Peach Pie. During warmer months, Koenig partners with Craft Lounge for special events on the property and exclusive cocktails.
Tequila fans should keep their eyes peeled: Koenig is set to release the Bone Orchard tequila collection in 2025, offering blanco, reposado and añejo varieties.
