The state song says it all — “I love you, California.” And really, it’s hard not to.

Life in California is golden, with warm weather, gorgeous scenery like the Pacific Coast, Yosemite, Sequoia and Joshua Tree national parks, and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, as well as a wealth of exquisite cuisine. And for all you wine enthusiasts out there, we can’t talk about California without mentioning wine country.

In addition to those sweet grapes, The Golden State produces a number of other foods. In fact, California yields more crops and farm-based goods than any other U.S. state.

But farming isn’t the only industry thriving in this state. California boasts the tech powerhouse of Silicon Valley, where many of the world’s largest high-tech companies are headquartered, and the heart of the global of entertainment industry in Los Angeles.

And if all of this isn’t impressive enough, 20 professional sports teams are based here. This means you’d be sharing your home turf with — wait for it — the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers, just to name a few.
