#60. La Grande
Lying just east of the Blue Mountains, La Grande is considered the hub of northeast Oregon, offering recreational, shopping and educational options. Eastern Oregon University gives La Grande college town cred, and the university’s presence helps lower the city’s median age to 33. Residents are also served by high-scoring schools in Le Grande, most of which are found in the La Grande School District, and the community features a historic commercial neighborhood.
