The coastal resort community of Petoskey, Mich., spans eight miles along the shoreline of Lake Michigan and features popular outdoor destinations such as Petoskey State Park and Lake Traverse Bay. Schools in Petoskey earn high marks, with the Public Schools of Petoskey along with North Central Michigan College leading educational efforts, and quality health care is provided at Northern Michigan Hospital.
