Princeton was established before the American Revolution and is best known as the home to Princeton University, which opened in 1756. Also gracing the community is Westminster Choir College, Princeton Theological Seminary, and an admired Princeton Public Schools district. The city offers amenities like diverse housing choices, a large shopping center, and several parks including Herrontown Woods, which features an arboretum, walking trails and wildlife viewing areas.
