Del Rio, a city of approximately 38,000 people is largely defined by its proximity to Mexico. Residents, commerce and tourists flow with ease back and forth via the Del Rio Border Crossing. Del Rio is near Laughlin Air Force Base and its warm temperatures throughout the year attract many long-term winter visitors.
