Home to more than two dozen major corporations, Louisville, Ky., also features the University of Louisville and more than 120 parks. While best known for its bourbon (about one-third of all whiskey in America is distilled in Louisville), the craft beer industry is gaining prominence as well. Two of the best-regarded brewers in town are Bluegrass Brewing Co. and Against the Grain. Against the Grain’s Kamen Knuddeln is a traditional ale brewed in much the same way that bourbon is created, and in keeping with that spirit (if you will), it’s our pick for the city.
