#48. Prescott
With a motto of “Welcome to Everybody’s Hometown,” Prescott, Ariz., is a community with many Victorian-style homes and more than 800 buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. The city, known for a cowboy and western feel, is also home to Prescott College, and several brewpubs have recently opened. They include Black Hole Brewery, Granite Mountain Brewing and Prescott Brewing Co., which features the city’s star brew: Achocolypse Chocolate Porter.
