UPDATE: Check out our new 2023 Best Cities to Live in the U.S. list.

#95. St. Louis

Along the western bank of the Mississippi River is the port of St. Louis, often identified by its 630-foot-tall Gateway Arch. The city houses nine Fortune 500 companies as well as 100 parks and two national research universities: Washington University in St. Louis and St. Louis University. While most would consider its beer selections to consist of Bud and Bud Light, we’ll focus on the many microbreweries doing lively business, including Perennial Artisan Ales that features a barrel-aged Abraxas, which rates just a little higher than your Buds.
