#28. Meadville
The first permanent settlement in northwest Pennsylvania was Meadville, home today to liberal arts institution Allegheny College and its 2,100 students. The city has a vibrant arts and entertainment scene along with a brewery industry that continues to grow. Some of its most frequented pubs include Sprague Farm & Brew Works, Timber Creek Tap & Table and Voodoo Brewery that has a Wynona’s Big Brown Ale selection.
