#54. Tempe
Named for the Vale of Tempe in Greece, Tempe, Ariz., is largely a college town that houses Arizona State University. Mill Avenue is a well-known district with bars and restaurants that cater to the university crowd, and Tempe now has nine breweries. Popular destinations include Papago Brewing, Sleepy Dog Brewery and Four Peaks Brewing Co. that produces a Hop Knot IPA and a Pumpkin Porter.
