Tourism plays a big part in the vibe of Traverse City, Mich., so it makes sense that breweries have emerged as places for locals and visitors to relax and hang out. More than a dozen operate in TC with names like Big Toe Brewery, Mackinaw Brewing Co. as well as Right Brain Brewery, which offers a popular CEO Stout draft. The community even hosts a seven-day Traverse City Beer Week every November.
